54 staff undergo 2-week SSU Safety and Awareness Training

Up to 54 personnel, including 40 men and 14 women, have successfully completed their two-week security awareness and weapons safety training at the Special Security Unit (SSU) headquarters.

A team of professional instructors from SSU trained the staff. The training module included simulations of exercises against terrorists, search of buildings, handling of weapons, shooting, self-defense, martial arts, parrying, raiding and close combat techniques.

At the end of the security training, a simple but gracious ceremony was held in the SSU Headquarters conference room where SSU Commander Zeeshan Shafique Siddiqui was the chief guest. While SP SSU Erum Awan, Tax Commissioner Girdhari Mal, Tax Commissioner Abdul Qadir Shaikh, Interior Deputy Commissioner Adeel Qudoosi and Tax Inspector Syed Wajid Ali Shah were present.

Speaking on the occasion, SSU Commander Zeeshan Shafique Siddiqui commended the unconscious personnel and said the tactical training provided to Federal Board of Revenue personnel will play an effective role in their field operations.

The Tax Commissioner, Mr. Girdhari Mal of the Federal Board of Revenue, expressed his gratitude to the SSU administration for providing training to Federal Board of Revenue staff. SSU Commander Zeeshan Shafique Siddiqui distributed certificates to unconscious Federal Board of Revenue personnel.
